Class Description ~ Beginner & Up

Explore the fundamentals of wheel-thrown pottery in a relaxed, creative environment. Students will learn to make functional and decorative pieces such as cylinders, cups, and bowls. Core techniques include centering, pulling, shaping, and trimming.

This class is beginner-friendly—no prior experience required! Intermediate and advanced students are also welcome to join and work more independently with guidance as needed.

Details

  • Included: All supplies and kiln firings

  • Make-ups & Open Studio: Each student is allowed one free make-up class per session. Open Studio access is available to currently enrolled students for an additional fee. (See more under “General Class Info & Open Studio Access” below.)
